What the client needed
SBPWA wanted to give its members a fresh, meaningful experience that aligned with its commitment to health and well-being for women from all walks of life.
What the client wanted to achieve
To create space for members to slow down, connect more deeply with each other, and strengthen presence and listening skills while taking time for personal renewal.
The key features of the experience
This experience was designed around three key practices: Connection, Curiosity, and Compassion to encourage self-awareness, stronger relationships, and a richer connection with the natural environment.
Participants were guided through
Nature reflections:
Drawing lessons from metaphors like the stillness and rootedness of trees.
Deep listening exercises:
Practicing attentive, non-judgemental dialogue.
Gentle inquiry:
Opening space for fresh perspectives and empathy.
Safe-to-high-risk listening framework:
Fostering trust and deeper sharing.

The session closed with group reflections, personal insights, and commitments, leaving each participant with practical takeaways to apply in both professional and personal communication.
What Participants Walked Away With:
“Trees remind us to stay still and rooted, offering full attention.”
“Roots, though unseen, represent the deeper emotions beneath our words.”
“We need to pause and truly listen to ourselves.”
“Like the tree that nurtures other plants on its trunk, we too can make space for others.”
“It’s possible to share deeply with a stranger who simply holds space.”

Participants’ Commitments
“To be calm like a tree and surround myself with real voices.”
“To walk in nature without music or conversation.”
“To be more present in my daily life and take my children to touch trees.”
